Eiffel Collage

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing this card on the Artistic Outpost blog and wanted to share the step by step instructions here with you as well.

This card was designed using the new Eiffel Collage background stamp from the AO February 2017 Release along with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies (all items available at Our Daily Bread Designs) using the Splitcoaststampers CC616 Color Challenge.

To create this card:

1). Die cut and emboss a piece of white cardstock with the ODBD Pierced Rectangles Dies.  Mount the panel onto a piece of bright pink cardstock, trim and mount onto the white card base.

2). Ink the AO Eiffel Collage background stamp with embossing ink, stamp onto a piece of white cardstock, re-ink the image, stamp onto a piece of black cardstock and heat emboss the white cardstock with black embossing powder and the black cardstock with clear embossing powder.

3). Use a water brush with distress inks and water based markers to color the image on the white cardstock.

4). Fussy-cut around the edge of the AO Eiffel Collage image from the black cardstock and fussy cut the Eiffel Tower, circle of flowers with the girl and birds and stamps from the white cardstock.   Mount the black embossed background to the card front and add the detailed images from the white cardstock background with dimensional foam.

5). Use a white paint pen to add highlights to the flower centers to finish off the card.

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friends!
