By The Seashore- Two Challenges in One

Hi Stampers!

I hope you are having a great weekend!  I had a chance to spend some time in my craft room this evening/morning and wanted to create a card using the colors from the CCMC250 Create with Connie and Mary Challenge along with the FMS84 Freshly Made Sketch Challenge.  I hope you take the time to visit each site and check out the Design Team samples along with the other entries!

I had already printed out these images the other day using My Digital Studio and thought they would work well with this sketch.

To create this card:

Print the images from By The Seashore Stamp Brush set and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes onto Whisper White cardstock (I re-sized both elements).  Carefully cut out the seashells, sand dollars and crab and use the Word Window punch for the sentiment.

Use a Sponge Dauber to sponge Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Basic Gray Classic ink onto the images.  Highlight with White Gel Pen.

Create the banner using Basic Gray DSP and the 1 ¼” Square Punch for the banner points- layer onto a piece of Basic Gray cardstock.  Layer the images along the banner using Mini Glue Dots.

Use the Big Shot™ with the Fancy Fan Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock and the Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folder to emboss a piece of Pool Party cardstock.

Adhere the layers per the sketch and mount onto Whisper White and Basic Gray to finish off the card.

Stamp Sets:  By The Seashore (MDS), Teeny Tiny Wishes (MDS)

Ink: Printer Ink- Black, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Basic Gray

Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Basic Gray DSP

Accessories:  Big Shot™, Fancy Fan and Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ Embossing Folders, 1 ¼” Square Punch, Word Window Punch, Sponge Daubers, White Gel Pen

Thanks again for stopping by- I hope all of you have a blessed Sunday!!
